I created elinahalonen.com as a professional home for the parts of my work that do not naturally fit within Prismatic Strategy. I wanted a site I could give to someone I met at an event, where they could explore different aspects of my experience and current interests: behavioural science, AI and governance, consulting, writing, books and the systems I have built with AI.

The central design problem was how someone could discover the different parts of my work without forcing all of them into a single consulting proposition or chronological CV.

The first version shared much of Prismatic Strategy’s visual language. I later redesigned it to feel much more personal, choosing the photograph, typography and layout, and building a palette deliberately from colours I might actually wear.

AI helped me implement and refine the design. The structure, visual direction and decisions about what belonged came from my own sense of the professional identity the site needed to hold.

SkillWhat it involved
Personal branding Created a professional identity broad enough to hold consulting, research, writing and AI work together.
Information architecture Organised a nonlinear body of experience so visitors can explore it by interest rather than chronology.
Editorial design Set the relationship between voice, typography, photography, colour and page rhythm.
Writing and editing Wrote and refined the site as an intellectual home rather than a CV or sales brochure.
AI-assisted implementation Used AI to build, revise and troubleshoot the custom responsive pages.
Web publishing Managed GitHub Pages, the custom domain, metadata, indexing and ongoing changes.
